Job Description

Job Title: Service Desk Hardware Computing Technician / Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Service Desk Hardware Computing Technician to provide technical support for computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, install and configure equipment, and ensure users receive timely and effective IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Respond to service desk tickets and provide timely support to users.
  • Set up new user workstations and replace faulty equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and asset management.
  • Document support activities and maintain accurate service records.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer hardware.
  • Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  • Basic understanding of networking and IT support processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • CompTIA A+ or similar IT certification is a plus.
  • Experience with IT service management tools is an advantage.
