The Senior Network Engineer - WIFI role at eHealth NSW is responsible for campus access that must remain secure, scalable and usable across a large health environment. Based in Chatswood or Homebush, the permanent Health Manager Level 4 position covers wired and wireless access, identity controls, design standards and operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Campus access design - develop wired, wireless, guest, BYOD or IoT access solutions balancing performance, security and supportability.
• Cisco SDA, NAC and automation - apply Cisco SDA, WLC, AP, Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Catalyst Centre or other automation to solve problems and deliver service outcomes.
• High Level and Low Level design decisions - translate requirements into HLD and LLD that align with architecture standards and operational needs.
• Incidents and continuous improvement - investigate complex Wi Fi or campus access issues and implement changes that improve reliability or capacity.
• Technical communication - present network information to customers, leaders or partner teams in a clear manner that influences sound decision making.
