Job Description

Project Manager with industrial unit/logistics experience required on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for taking ownership and delivery.

Your main role and responsibilities will be: -<br />Managing projects through design development, procurement and construction phases<br />Procurement and delivery of Design &amp; Build contracts<br />Delivery of projects involving structural steel frames, heavy-duty slabs and extensive external works<br />Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.<br />Coordination of multi-disciplinary design teams<br />Managing cost, programme, risk and change control across complex construction packages<br />Experience working both client-side and/or for a main contractor, with a strong understanding of contractor delivery approaches<br />Experience of working within major infrastructure or construction programmes<br />Strong understanding of construction methodologies for large-scale industrial facilities<br />Experience managing external works, groundworks and logistics-heavy environments<br />Understanding of buildability, sequencing and temporary works considerations<br />Key skills would be:<br />Understanding of RIBA stages<br />Interface management between design, planning and construction<br />Experience client side or for a tier 1<br />Knowledge of NEC / JCT<br />Experience of procuring Design and Build contracts<br />Ideally extensive experience in stakeholder management<br />Role will be on a hybrid basis with 3 days per week site based<br />Living away allowance can't be provided<br />Salary: £72,5000 - £82,5000 depending on experience<br />Benefits:<br />28 days annual leave + bank holidays increasing to 30 days after 5 years<br />Up to 5% bonus<br />Pension: up to 7.5% employee contribution and 15% employer contribution<br />Flexible Benefits
