Job Description

Job Title: Salesforce Platform Developer
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
Provide technical leadership and code reviews for Salesforce development teams.
Translate business requirements into robust, secure, and scalable Salesforce solutions.
Develop custom applications, workflows, triggers, batch classes, and integrations.
Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware.
Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.
Support multiple Salesforce environments including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize performance, and resolve integration challenges.
Participate in sprint planning, technical design sessions, release management, and deployment activities.
Collaborate with QA teams during testing and support production releases.
Maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and development standards.
Stay current with Salesforce platform releases and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming).
Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, governor limits, and platform architecture.
Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
Hands-on experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party systems.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and version control.
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
Experience supporting multi-org Salesforce environments.
Knowledge of MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
Experience with Salesforce DX and DevOps tools.
Public sector or government project experience.

Education

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
