Programme Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager or Programme Manager with a background in a medical communications agency ? Do you enjoy delivering complex client programmes while continuously looking for smarter, more effective ways of working?

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation specialising in independent medical education (IME) . As they continue to expand, they're looking for an organised, analytical and proactive Programme Manager to take ownership of multiple educational programmes while helping to improve the processes and systems that support delivery.

The Role

You'll manage multiple live and on-demand medical education programmes from initiation through to completion, working closely with clients, faculty members and internal colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time, to a high standard and with exceptional attention to detail.

Alongside programme delivery, you'll be encouraged to challenge existing ways of working, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the continuous evolution of project management processes as the organisation grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple medical education programmes.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines and delivery schedules across concurrent projects.
• Build strong relationships with clients, faculty and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate webinars, virtual events and other educational initiatives.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and ensure programmes are delivered on time and within scope.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting and delivery trackers.
• Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, systems and operational efficiency.
• Support the ongoing development of scalable project management processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll already have experience managing multiple client projects within a medical communications agency .

You'll be highly organised, naturally analytical and someone who enjoys asking questions, solving problems and finding better ways of working. You won't simply deliver projects—you'll look for opportunities to improve them.

Experience within Independent Medical Education (IME) or Continuing Medical Education (CME) is highly desirable but not essential. Likewise, while a scientific background is welcomed, we're equally interested in candidates with a genuine enthusiasm for healthcare and an appreciation of the importance of scientific accuracy.

Location: Fully Remote (UK)

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience
