Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional Lead
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional Lead to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions for North America. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, and Time & Labor, with the ability to partner with business stakeholders, lead functional workshops, configure solutions, and drive successful end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
Required Qualifications & Responsibilities
10+ years of experience implementing Oracle HCM Payroll solutions, including multiple full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
Minimum 5 years of experience serving as a Functional Lead for Oracle HCM Cloud North America Payroll implementations.
Hands-on expertise configuring Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, and Time & Labor modules.
Lead business requirement workshops, process discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions to define business needs and solution direction.
Design scalable business processes, prepare solution blueprints, functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and process documentation.
Configure payroll business rules, payroll processing, Benefits, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and related Oracle HCM Cloud functionality.
Conduct Proof of Concepts (POC), Conference Room Pilots (CRP), process playback sessions, and solution demonstrations for business approval.
Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Payroll Parallel Testing, Cutover Planning, Production Deployment, and Post-Go-Live Support.
Support legacy payroll data conversion, data validation, reconciliation, and migration activities.
Collaborate with integration teams to design, build, configure, and test integrations between Oracle HCM Payroll and third-party applications.
Develop and support Payroll Interfaces, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher Reports, OTBI Reports, HDL Data Loads, Fast Formula, Payroll Data Conversions, and integration with General Ledger (GL).
Perform payroll processing, issue troubleshooting, Oracle quarterly updates, tax updates, quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance.
Strong expertise in North American Payroll, US Payroll regulations, payroll taxation, tax configuration, tax update testing, payroll validation, and issue resolution.
Good understanding of Oracle Payroll Cloud tables, payroll architecture, integration points, and downstream vendor file processing.
Deliver end-user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and functional documentation while partnering with business users, project managers, architects, and cross-functional teams throughout implementation.
Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive business decisions and deliver high-quality Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions.
Oracle Cloud Payroll Certification and prior consulting/System Integrator (SI) experience are highly preferred.
