The Role • Optimize production flow for complex manufacturing processes. • Serve as an advocate for operations, ensuring an optimized environment for building advanced vessels. • Perform analyses for facility planning, work center design, and strategic sourcing. • Manage projects, including critical asset, equipment, and spatial demand/capacity analysis. • Interface regularly with operations management, program offices, and strategic sourcing teams to drive solutions. What You'll Need • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field. • 5+ years of combined engineering, construction/manufacturing operations, or construction support experience. • Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Experience with factory flow and work center design is highly desirable. • Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, or Toyota Production Systems principles. • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve production conflicts.
