Job Description

Responsibilities"
  • Architect and develop full-stack applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Design scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
  • Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
  • Containerize and operate services using Docker and Kubernetes, including scaling, deployments, and service reliability.
  • Design and optimize data solutions using PostgreSQL and Redis.
  • Drive architectural decisions related to scalability, performance, availability, security, and reliability.
  • Lead technical initiatives from design through production and establish engineering best practices.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams. 
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, and React.
  • Proven experience building scalable full-stack applications, microservices, and distributed systems. 
  • Production experience with Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Redis. 
  • Strong knowledge of system design, APIs, asynchronous programming, database optimization, and cloud-native architecture. 
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and production operations.
  • Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building large-scale ecommerce, retail, payments, or customer-facing platforms. 
  • Experience with AWS EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, MSK, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana. 
  • Experience with Next.js SSR/SSG, App Router, frontend performance optimization, and testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Previous experience as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, or Architect.
