AI Integration Engineer (W2 Contract to Hire)

A technology organization is seeking an AI Integration Engineer to join a remote team and help design, build, and optimize AI-powered solutions across systems and workflows. This hands-on role focuses on integrating emerging AI tools, connecting platforms through APIs and automations, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver business impact.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can solve operational challenges.


• Configure, integrate, and optimize AI tools within existing systems and workflows.


• Build integrations using APIs and automations to connect AI tools with core data and platforms.


• Troubleshoot issues and improve the functionality and performance of AI-enabled solutions.


• Stay current on new AI technologies and contribute to continuous experimentation and adoption.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 3+ years of experience as a technology professional in a cloud-first environment.


• Experience setting up and configuring AI tools.


• Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and services.


• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.


• Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills.


• Ability to work in an Agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with OpenAI, Workato, and Databricks.


• Familiarity with the latest LLMs and AI products.


• Exposure to healthcare or advertising environments.


• Ability to switch between technologies and quickly master new tools.
