IBM i (AS/400) Administration

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• Note- Location – NJ - the person can be remote in USA but is required to be onsite for 100 hours/year. CLIENT  will pay EXPENSE  for travel.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Lead engineer role with IBMi knowledge
• Maintain detailed knowledge of SG's technical environment.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation resource.
• Provide proactive recommendations regarding architecture, performance, patching, firmware, lifecycle management, and best practices.
• Support technical roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate technical activities across operational support teams.
• Provide up to 100 hours of onsite support annually.
