Practice Model: Hybrid – Outpatient Clinic and Inpatient Surgical Care

Call Schedule: Shared equally among neurosurgical team members

Position Overview

A leading physician-owned neurosurgery group in Phoenix is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join its growing practice. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient consultations, elective and urgent surgical procedures, and inpatient care, supported by a fully integrated, multidisciplinary team.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $400,000 – $650,000 annually (dependent on experience and training)

Incentives: Productivity-based RVU bonus and profit-sharing opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with neurological disorders requiring surgical intervention.
  • Perform a broad range of neurosurgical procedures based on training and clinical expertise.
  • Provide both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Interpret imaging and diagnostic studies to guide clinical decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EMR.
  • Participate in shared call coverage and collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, mentorship, research, or leadership opportunities as desired.

Qualifications

Required

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Eligible for hospital privileges
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care

Preferred

  • Fellowship training in a neurosurgical subspecialty (Spine, Cerebrovascular, Functional, Skull Base, Pediatrics, or similar)
  • Experience practicing in a multidisciplinary or integrated healthcare environment
  • Interest in clinical research, physician leadership, or resident education
