Job Description

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a skilled Emulation Build Engineer to support hardware emulation, FPGA-based development, and build automation activities. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with FPGA, hardware emulation, scripting, and automation, along with hands-on experience using Tale/Davinci or similar emulation tools.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Support emulation build, compilation, configuration, and debug activities for complex hardware designs.
  • Work closely with FPGA and hardware engineering teams to support emulation and hardware bring-up.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and build flows to improve emulation efficiency and productivity.
  • Work with Synopsys emulation tools, including RPL, and support emulation build and debug processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scripting and automation frameworks.
  • Support class models and hardware/software modelling activities.
  • Troubleshoot build failures, compilation issues, connectivity problems, and emulation-related issues.
  • Collaborate with design, verification, firmware, and hardware teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Optimize build and emulation flows for performance, reliability, and scalability.


Required Skills

  • Strong experience with FPGA and hardware emulation.
  • Hands-on experience with Tale/Davinci – Mandatory.
  • Experience with Synopsys RPL and related emulation/build flows.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining automated build and emulation workflows.
  • Good understanding of hardware design, FPGA architecture, and hardware/software interaction.
  • Experience with class models and related modeling concepts.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Synopsys emulation platforms and tools.
  • Experience working with large-scale SoC/ASIC designs.
  • Knowledge of RTL, hardware verification, and simulation/emulation methodologies.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment with hardware, design, verification, and firmware teams.
