While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Blackburn (soon to be Doncaster) in line with our hybrid working model.About the roleReporting to the Senior Evidence and Evaluation Analyst, this role will work with diverse sources of clinical and operational data, including clinical quality registries, to develop actionable evidence of clinical performance and effectiveness across AV. Responsibilities include but not limited to:Work collaboratively to support the development and maintenance of data analytics systems in the Centre for Research and EvaluationUndertake analysis and provide analytical insight and support for projects within the Quality & Clinical Innovation Division and wider AVPrepare and disseminate and develop data reports to assist in the monitoring of all relevant aspects of AV performanceSupport the delivery of self-service and interactive data analytics, delivering detailed analysis and insights to support business decision makingProvide analytical support for strategic and research projects, both internally and externally to AV, including participating in project teams, committees, working groups and other forums as requiredAbout youThe ideal candidate will have completion of a tertiary qualification at the postgraduate level in a relevant discipline (Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology) with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience. Other requirements include but not limited to:Strong experience in data analytics and reporting, preferably in the patient care or clinical settingExperience in the health sector, the emergency services or the university sectorExperience in developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes and cloud-based reporting productsIn depth knowledge of relevant software applications, databases, statistical packages and business intelligence tools (i.e., Oracle, SharePoint, Stata, SPSS, SQL, Power BI)Well-developed quantitative data analysis skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate information and data visualisations to achieve strategic insightsWell-developed interpersonal skills to enable clear interaction on both technical and non-technical subjects with a broad range of stakeholdersWorking at Ambulance VictoriaAs a valued member of AV, you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
