Database Architect (Snowflake / Informatica)

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Database Architect in Albany, NY.

Description

Database Architect is expected to design data infrastructure to extract and organize enterprise data systems, bridges the gap between business needs and complex technology, ensures client?s data is secure, highly available, scalable, and compliant with New York State policies and regulations.

? Monitor Snowflake credit usage, adjust resource monitors, and tune virtual warehouses
? Manage Snowflake users and roles, enforce security policies, audit Snowflake access
? Write and tune SQL queries, build Snowflake ELT pipelines, manage compute and cost, and configure security and governance
? Build and update Informatica mappings and configure workflows.
? Perform unit testing and validate data integrity
? Troubleshoot failures, tune performance
? Documentation ETL process, security policies, system architecture, user guides and etc.

Mandatory Qualifications

? Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

? 84 Months Experience in Snowflake data warehouse development and administration.
? 84 Months Experience in Snowflake performance tuning and improvement.
? 84 Months Experience in Informatica pipeline development and data transformation.
? 84 Months Experience in Informatica performance tuning and improvement.
? 84 Months Experience in RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) and SQL Query development.
? 48 Months Experience in solution architecture & modeling.
? 84 Months Experience in database and platform security & governance.
