Job Description

Job Title: Hardware V&V Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)

Duration: 6–12 Months

We are looking for a Hardware V&V Engineer with strong Python scripting skills and hands-on experience validating low-level hardware. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting hardware issues, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute Python scripts for hardware verification and validation.
  • Perform board-level and interface-level testing.
  • Execute test procedures and document test results.
  • Debug hardware, firmware, and test script issues.
  • Work with various hardware interfaces and laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain test documentation and provide regular project updates.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test coverage and reliability.

Required Skills:

  • Strong Python scripting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware verification and validation (V&V).
  • Experience testing low-level or embedded hardware.
  • Knowledge of hardware interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, Ethernet, or similar.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, digital multimeters (DMMs), or other lab equipment.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CAN/CAN Bus.
  • Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical Device industries.
  • Familiarity with Git or version control tools.
  • Experience creating automated test scripts and maintaining test documentation.
