Job Description

Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

Location: Remote (USA)
Job Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue and Amazon Redshift, along with expertise in developing scalable ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutions on AWS.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue (Mandatory)
  • Extensive experience with Amazon Redshift (Mandatory)
  • Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, EC2, and Athena
  • Strong SQL and ETL development skills
  • Experience with Python or PySpark for data processing
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines and cloud-based ETL workflows
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Glue
  • Build, optimize, and manage data warehouse solutions in Amazon Redshift
  • Develop scalable data integration and transformation workflows
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions
  • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across AWS environments
