Job Title: AWS Data Engineer
Location: Remote (USA)
Job Type: Contract
We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue and Amazon Redshift, along with expertise in developing scalable ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutions on AWS.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue (Mandatory)
- Extensive experience with Amazon Redshift (Mandatory)
- Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, EC2, and Athena
- Strong SQL and ETL development skills
- Experience with Python or PySpark for data processing
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Experience building scalable data pipelines and cloud-based ETL workflows
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Glue
- Build, optimize, and manage data warehouse solutions in Amazon Redshift
- Develop scalable data integration and transformation workflows
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across AWS environments
