Berman Hyundai is looking for a reliable Parts Counter Sales Associate to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and building their knowledge in the automotive industry. This role requires prior parts experience in a dealership setting, Hyundai experience preferred.
Job Title: Parts Counter Associate (Union, Local 731)
Location: Berman Hyundai; Lincolnwood, IL
Pay: $20-$28 per hour - BOE
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 9:00AM–6:00PM; Saturdays (8:00AM–4:00PM); Off Sundays and Mondays

What You’ll Do
- Help customers and service technicians find the right parts and accessories with accuracy and efficiency
- Answer questions and offer guidance on basic vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Keep inventory organized by stocking, tracking, and fulfilling orders through our systems
- Handle transactions and phone inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail
- Work closely with the service department to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time
- Contribute to sales goals through strong product knowledge and customer service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with parts in a dealership setting, required
- Solid understanding of automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to customers and team members
- Comfortable using inventory management systems, POS platforms, and basic retail math
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in stock control and order accuracy
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional approach
- Valid driver’s license required
