Senior Power Platform Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer for a contract-to-hire position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, Minneapolis, MN, New Jersey, New York and San Francisco, CA. This is a 12+ month opportunity.

This role supports technology leadership by providing analytics, reporting, and applications to support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level engineer focused on developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI, with growing exposure to Microsoft Fabric and AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Build and support Power BI reporting and analytics solutions, including data modeling and dashboard development
• Work with Microsoft Fabric and emerging Agentic AI capabilities
• Communicate with business stakeholders and leadership to provide technical guidance and architectural recommendations
• Participate in the development of applications and reports for internal business users

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a senior-level engineer
• Strong expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
• Proficiency in Power BI for data modeling, analytics, and reporting
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team

Desired skills:

• Experience with Agentic AI
• Knowledge of SQL and ETL/Data integration
• General data modeling and analytics experience

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
