Oracle EDMCS Consultant
Overview

This role focuses on the end-to-end implementation and management of Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS) to establish a centralized, governed framework for master data and metadata across enterprise systems.
Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience configuring and implementing Oracle EDMCS for master data and metadata management
• At least 1-2 full lifecycle implementations of EDMCS
• Strong experience designing:
  • Data models
  • Hierarchies
  • Node types
  • Viewpoints and applications
• Experience integrating EDMCS with enterprise systems such as:
  • EPBCS
  • FCCS
  • Oracle Fusion
  • Custom applications
• Experience developing:
  • Views, node sets, subscriptions
  • Validation rules
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Metadata governance frameworks
  • Attribute governance
  • Hierarchy management
• Strong understanding of:
  • Data validation
  • Governance policies
  • Audit controls
• Experience with metadata migration and deployment across environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating EDMCS workflows with ServiceNow for request and approval processes
• Hands-on experience building automation solutions using:
  • REST APIs
  • Python / Jython
  • Custom scripting
• Experience supporting:
  • Out-of-the-box integrations
  • Custom integration frameworks
• Strong experience in:
  • Data transformation and cleansing
  • Data mapping across source systems
• Ability to design and optimize workflows, approvals, and user access protocols

• Design, configure, and implement EDMCS applications and architecture
• Develop and maintain data models, hierarchies, and governance structures
• Configure and manage viewpoints, node types, and validation frameworks
• Build and optimize workflows and approval processes
• Implement metadata governance, audit controls, and data quality standards
• Integrate EDMCS with enterprise applications and ServiceNow
• Develop automation solutions and support integration frameworks
• Ensure data consistency across systems through transformation and mapping
• Manage deployments and migrations across multiple environments
