AWS Java Developer

Proficiency / understanding of key AWS services listed below:-<br />S3<br />Athena<br />Glue- Lambda<br />DynamoDB<br />OpenSearch<br />CloudFormation<br />API Gateway<br />ECS<br />CloudWatch Programming and Core Services<br />• Fluency in Kotlin/Java, NodeJS, TypeScript<br />• SQL Databases:<br />Experience with SQL, and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB<br />Security – strong understanding of security principles within the AWS environment,<br />including RBAC and the principle of least privilege, storing credentials securely using<br />Secrets Manager/KMS, and handling sensitive data such as email addresses and<br />tokens securely.<br />CI/CD – Building and managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines is a<br />key skill.

Experience with Git and GitHub Actions<br />Workflow Management – Understanding of services like Amazon Step Functions to<br />implement complex workflows – Desirable<br />Containers – experience of working with Docker and ECS<br />Good understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps concepts<br />Other Skills<br />Monitoring and debugging – familiarity with tools like Datadog<br />Familiarity with Angular framework
