Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Executive to drive new revenue growth in a fast-paced consulting environment. This role owns the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting through closing, and is ideal for a driven, entrepreneurial professional with a strong track record in solution-based selling. You will engage senior decision makers, develop strategic relationships, and expand market presence while positioning consulting services that solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new and incremental revenue through proactive prospecting and acquisition of net-new clients
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline, including development of statements of work and contract negotiation
  • Establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and generate referrals that lead to new opportunities
  • Maintain strong knowledge of market conditions, competitive landscape, and service offerings
  • Develop access to key decision makers and expand C-level relationships across target accounts
  • Align client needs with appropriate solutions and internal resources to deliver business outcomes
  • Execute structured sales methodology including solution selling and account management practices
  • Provide strategic input on go-to-market plans, account strategy, and pursuit development
  • Communicate effectively through presentations, proposals, and executive discussions

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in hunter-style business development with strong closing ability
  • Experience selling consulting or professional services solutions into mid-market or enterprise organizations
  • Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills across diverse audiences
  • Strategic thinking with experience in market development and business modeling
  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor and build credibility with client leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience selling consulting services into enterprise or Fortune 500 accounts
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Compensation
Base salary range: $150,000 – $175,000 plus performance-based incentives
