Job Description
Qualifications in addition to the list below will depend upon experience. A Bachelor level applicant (in a commensurate field) will be considered, along with applicants with associate degrees or high school diplomas, depending on experience and qualifications. Seaman USD 345 has five school psychologists that this para will work for during the school year. The School Psychology Para position will be an hourly pay, classified position which begins July 29, 2026. Pay per hour will vary depending on experience.

Possible Duties (each psych would determine from this list what they want the para to do) - NOTE: Basic duties would be clerical plus those that do not require a specialist degree to accomplish.
Schedule meetings
Transfer-in cases - obtain all records; data entry into PSSP; transfer-checklists
Contact service providers about transfer-in cases
Observations of students in schools
Score rating scales (data entry) in scoring programs
Follow up on signature verifications
Fill out documents – if given information
Assessment - if trained
Scheduling testing
Compliance checks - evals processes (checklist)
Caseload lists/keeping caseload lists current – not psych specific
Create PSSP reports – pieces not requiring psych expertise
Collect records – transfer cases; from SEC; take to or send to SEC; Release of information – send letters to doctors, etc.
Upload documents in to PSSP
Teacher questionnaires
Assist with eval reports – content (nurse information, record review information)
Collect HOF data; graph HOF data collected for evaluations
