Job Description

Senior Software Developer – Requirements

Location: Indianapolis, IN – Hybrid, 2 days/week onsite (Local candidates only)
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: $60/hr C2C
Interview: Video
Visa: No H1B

Required Skills

5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2/4.8
Strong hands-on experience with C#
Strong experience with Entity Framework 6 or earlier, Database-First approach
Advanced SQL Server / T-SQL skills, including complex queries and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
Experience with Unit Testing using NUnit, xUnit, or similar frameworks
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD
Experience supporting legacy Classic ASP applications
Strong production support, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and application maintenance experience
Experience with code reviews, technical mentoring, and team leadership

Role Focus

This is primarily a maintenance and production-support role involving defect resolution, enhancements, legacy application support, and modernization initiatives. The candidate should be comfortable providing technical direction and mentoring to local and offshore teams.
