Job Description

With over 1.3 million members, RAC is one of WA's most iconic and trusted brands. We are a purpose-led member organisation striving to create greater value for our members and deliver on our purpose to be "The driving force for a better WA." RAC is looking for a Workday HR Systems Administrator to join our People & Capability team and play a key role in the day-to-day administration, optimisation and continuous improvement of our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Reporting to the Manager People Data and Workday Operations, you'll be responsible for the effective administration and ongoing enhancement of Workday HCM. This is an opportunity to use your Workday expertise to make a real difference - improving data quality, streamlining HR processes and delivering a better experience for our people. This role is offered on an initial 12month maximum term contract.

What you will be doing:
  • Manage Workday service requests, system enhancements and reporting requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Gather requirements, assess priorities and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions within Workday.
  • Configure, test and implement new Workday functionality, processes and integrations.
  • Manage user access, security controls, system parameters and processing rules.
  • Maintain the integrity and quality of HR data through data cleansing and quality assurance activities.
  • Support Workday configuration for organisational restructures and other business changes.
  • Manage monthly and ad hoc reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate and identifying opportunities to improve reporting capability.
  • Develop user guides, training materials and system procedures to support effective system adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and end users, helping them get the most from Workday.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader HR Systems team and Workday Product Owner to share best practice and ensure strong governance.
What you will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience administering and configuring Workday HCM or a similar HRIS, including permissions, access controls and front-end application use.
  • Experience building and distributing HRIS reports.
  • Experience managing system enhancements, testing and implementation.
  • Strong experience developing process documentation, procedures, user guides and training materials.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, understand different stakeholder needs and translate requirements into practical technology solutions.
  • Experience working within HR and/or Payroll environments will be highly regarded.
  • Workday HCM training or certification is desirable.
What's in it for you?
  • A workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected and empowered
  • Work in flexible ways that meet work/life commitments and support wellbeing
  • Be part of a purpose led organisation that gives back to the WA community
  • An environment that values ongoing career development
  • Free Roadside Assistance and discounts on RAC products and services including Insurance, Holiday Parks and Resorts, Security, Finance and Auto Services
  • Opportunities for community engagement and corporate volunteering

Applications close COB Friday 4th September 2026.
