Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Product Manager for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in the DMV area .
The Product Manager owns the end-to-end lifecycle of one or more products - from discovery through delivery and iteration. You'll partner with Technology and Business stakeholders to shape product vision, build strategic roadmaps, and drive development priorities that deliver measurable outcomes. Working at the intersection of Engineering, Business, and cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the right problems are solved, commitments are met, and users are empowered.

The Product Manager owns the end-to-end lifecycle of one or more products - from discovery through delivery and iteration. Working at the intersection of Engineering, Business, and cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the right problems are solved, commitments are met, and users are empowered.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with Engineering and UX Design to deliver compelling, user-centered products that solve critical business problems and create exceptional user experiences.
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap; contribute to budgeting and business case development.
- Own the product backlog - prioritize based on business impact, user value, and effort; make informed tradeoff decisions to maximize outcomes with available resources.
- Author well-crafted user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements that clearly articulate desired outcomes.
- Guide cross-functional teams through the development process, removing obstacles and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Drive continuous product improvement through user research, usability testing, and sentiment analysis - turning insights into action.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally within regulated industries or complex enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of translating ambiguity into clear, actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to influence without authority and build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Sound judgment in navigating competing priorities, complex tradeoffs, and stakeholder disagreements.
- Demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships that elevate the quality of deliverables.
- Proficiency in technical business writing, including functional requirements, workflows, use cases, and process documentation.
- Highly organized with a bias toward action and a comfort level managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
