You will be joining a high-performance team in our extensive Operations business with a focus on innovative, modern approaches to improving the stability, scalability and maintainability of our customer facingsystems.

About the Role

AsSeniorDevOpsEngineer, you will contribute to building solutions that solve our customers' hardest problems. You will be building elegant, maintainable, highly available and repeatable solutions, with an experimentation and continuous improvement mindset. You will work collaboratively within an Agile team of dedicated technology SMEs with access to Datacom's global pool of technical specialists. Please note, the team are hybrid and work across our Australian offices 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home. To be eligible for this role you will need to be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain NV1 security clearance.

  • Installationand configuration ofapplicationmiddlewareplatforms
  • Deployment toVMware and VMware Cloud on AWS
  • Codedeployment andplatformlifecycle management
  • Reporting for audit and compliance requirements
  • Ensuringplatformhigh availability ismaintainedthroughreliable operational change and release processes
  • Customerengagementthrough technical collaboration andsolution design
What you'll bring

AsSeniorDevOpsEngineer, you will contribute tothe team'sexisting cross functionalcapabilities by providinghigh level experience with a combination of opensource andVMware automation products. You will bring a detailed understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, and experience with full stack automationincluding Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).

You will be given the ability tocontinuallyresearch, develop, and actively promote platform agnostic technologysolutionsthateliminatemanual processesand solvegenuinetechnicalchallenges.

If you have experience in the following technology areas, it would be an advantage, but ultimately, we'relooking for DevOps Engineers with a deep understanding and appreciation of technology thatcanadapt quickly torapid,iterative change.
