Role: GenAI Developer with Google ADK experience

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days office in a week)

Duration: W2 contract role

Job Description:

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop AI agents using Google ADK for enterprise business use cases.
2. Build single-agent and multi-agent applications with capabilities such as reasoning, planning, task execution, and collaboration.
3. Develop agent workflows using tools, function calling, callbacks, sessions, state management, and memory.
4. Integrate AI agents with enterprise APIs, databases, microservices, SaaS platforms, and business applications.
5. Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions using enterprise documents, structured data, and knowledge repositories.
6. Integrate and configure Google Gemini models through Vertex AI for text, code, multimodal, and conversational use cases.
7. Implement agent tools for API invocation, database access, document processing, search, and workflow automation.
8. Develop secure and reliable GenAI applications with authentication, authorization, validation, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop controls.
9. Perform prompt engineering, context engineering, model configuration, response validation, and output optimization.
10. Test, debug, monitor, document, and deploy production-ready ADK agents using Google Cloud and DevOps practices.

Requirements

1. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 8+ years of experience in software development, AI engineering, ML engineering, or application development.
3. Hands-on experience developing Generative AI applications using Google ADK.
4. Strong experience with Google Gemini models and Vertex AI.
5. Proficiency in Python; experience with Java or TypeScript is an advantage.
6. Strong understanding of AI agent concepts, including:
• Agent orchestration
• Tool and function calling
• Sessions and state
• Agent memory
• Callbacks
• Multi-agent collaboration
7. Experience building RAG solutions using embeddings, vector search, document processing, and knowledge retrieval.
8. Experience integrating REST APIs, databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems.
9. Knowledge of Google Cloud services, IAM, Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Vertex AI.
10. Understanding of GenAI security, prompt injection, data privacy, hallucination mitigation, responsible AI, testing, and monitoring.
