Full time

Reports to: VP of Implementations

Summary

Sitestream, a Polaris Software company in Beverly, MA, is seeking detail-oriented and motivated team member as a Implementation Manager. As part of a fast-growing, mission-driven company, you will help ensure that our partner communities receive high-quality, reliable program outcomes. A strong work ethic, consistency, and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. In this role, you will be contributing towards technology that helps our customers make the world safer and fairer.

We're looking for an Implementation Manager to take ownership of project delivery once a contract has been secured by the sales team, right through to a clean handover to our in-life processing and support team. You'll Line manage our US-based Project Managers and Camera Technicians, and ensure each project has the structure, pace, and accountability it needs to land on time and in budget.

This is a hands-on leadership role. Day-to-day customer engagement with police departments, mayors' offices, and other municipality staff, is owned by your Project Managers, but you'll be involved periodically and act as the escalation point when things need a senior voice. You'll also own the moving parts that sit above any single project: permits and regulatory approvals, hardware and supplier relationships, construction provider relationships, and budget tracking across your whole portfolio.

You'll work closely with our UK-based software delivery team; Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and Product Managers - as needed for each program, so this role sits at the intersection of physical project delivery and software delivery. Success in this role looks like building on and standardizing our approach to delivering projects, so that time and budget performance becomes consistent and repeatable rather than dependent on any one person.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Handover

·       Pick up projects once a contract has been secured by the sales team, and have responsibility for overall delivery.

·       Manage a clean, well-documented handover to the in-life support team once a project is live.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

·       Support day-to-day customer engagement led by your Project Managers, including with police departments, mayors, and other municipality staff.

·       Act as the escalation point for customer relationships when issues need a senior voice.

Permits & Regulatory Oversight

·       Oversee progress on permits and applications with the various Department of Transportation (DOT) and Municipalities as required, ensuring projects continue to progress through these approvals.

Team Management - Project Managers & Camera Technicians

·       Manage the US-based team of Project Managers and Camera Technicians, including workload, priorities, and whereabouts of field-based staff.

·       Oversee installations and maintenance of existing systems, including fault-fixing, delivered by the Camera Technician team.

·       Balance the priorities of the Camera Technicians between delivery and support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·       Liaise with the UK-based Software Delivery team: Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and Product Managers - as required for each program.

Hardware & Supplier Management

·       Own equipment requirements for each project and liaise with suppliers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.

·       Arrange supplier support as needed, and maintain oversight of annual radar calibration requirements across installed systems.

Construction Provider Relationships

·       Own relationships with construction providers who deliver both initial installations and ongoing site support.

Budget Management

·       Track project spend across hardware and construction, including approving invoices through the appropriate process.

·       Own budget performance across your portfolio of projects, flagging risk early.

Process & Standardization

·       Build on and standardize our approach to project delivery, ensuring projects consistently land on time and in budget regardless of who's running them.

Your Experience

·       Proven experience as a Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, or similar, ideally delivering complex or physical infrastructure projects (e.g. construction, telecoms, utilities, security/surveillance systems, engineering or similar field-based deployments).

·       Experience managing or overseeing other Project Managers, and ideally a field-based technical team (e.g. engineers or technicians).

·       Comfortable managing a geographically spread, partly remote team.

·       Experience with permits, regulatory approvals, or working with government/municipal bodies is a strong plus, though not essential.

·       Confident owning supplier and vendor relationships, including equipment procurement and construction/contractor management.

·       Strong budget management experience, including tracking spend and invoice approval processes.

·       Comfortable acting as a senior escalation point with customers, including public sector stakeholders such as police departments and municipal offices.

·       Experience working cross-functionally with software or product delivery teams is a plus.

·       A natural process-builder - someone who looks to standardize and improve how projects are delivered, not just deliver the project in front of them.

·       Based in or near Beverly, MA is preferred but not essential; regular in-office time to collaborate with other team leads and departments is expected, in addition to project based travel.

·       Experience working with delivery of ATESD solutions is a strong positive but not essential.

What We Offer

·       Health and Dental Insurance (BlueCross BlueSheild, 80:20 contribution model)

·       401k

·       Salary of $130,000 - $160,000 per year gross

·       Vision

·       Longterm Disability & AD&D

·       20 Days PTO (full year allowance)

·       Life Insurance

·       EAP

·       Community Day

·       Moment in Time Day

·       Federal Paid Holidays
