Job Description

Business Operations Lead (BizOps) - Systems & Projects

Proudly Australian, family-owned and operated - and the winner of hundreds of prestigious beauty awards - slip can be found in the world's leading retailers, including Sephora, Mecca, Nordstrom, Ulta, Harrods and Selfridges, just to name a few.

The work is diverse and challenging, meaning the days are rarely boring or repetitive. The founders work in the business every day. We work together as a team to find solutions to the challenges which arise for a market leading, innovative brand.

As our hardworking, close-knit team continues to grow, we are seeking sharp, collaborative professionals who bring both a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing growth story of a global brand, from our head office in Brisbane, Australia.

About the Role

Are you a process-driven project operator who loves untangling complex workflows, diving into software ecosystems, and turning big-picture plans into clean, executed reality?

We are looking for a Business Operations Lead (BizOps) to join the team at slip. This isn't a high-level corporate management role where you sit back and delegate. We need a sharp, tech adjacent, highly organized execution specialist who loves rolling up their sleeves and owning outcomes from start to finish.

Reporting directly to the founders, you will be the central coordinator for our internal systems and special projects, keeping leadership informed, breaking down operational bottlenecks, and driving change across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Act as the primary project driver for the internal evaluation, deployment, and onboarding phases of our new ERP system.

Assess, test, and optimize data flows across our software ecosystem (including Shopify, PIM, and reporting tools) to eliminate manual entry and make internal ways of working highly efficient.

Ensure our digital tools talk to each other seamlessly to maintain data integrity across the brand.

2. Process Mapping & Special Project Delivery

Audit internal workflows across departments to identify bottlenecks, eliminate inefficiencies, and design smarter ways of working.

Take ownership of critical brand initiatives.

Map out clear timelines, track key milestone metrics, and ensure project bottlenecks are cleared.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as a central operational link between internal departments to ensure cross functional projects stay on schedule and deliverables are met.

Translate operational goals into practical checklists and clear action plans for team members.

4. Executive Support & Enablement

Keep the founders and senior team members seamlessly informed on project timelines and operational risks through clear reporting.

Provide high level, ad hoc administrative support to the founders, ensuring executive time is optimized and key actions are followed up.

About You

You are a rare hybrid; someone who possesses the commercial maturity to interact with multiple departments, the structured discipline to map out a tech rollout, and the agility to manage executive support tasks without ego.

You will bring:

At least 3 years of experience in a BizOps, Digital Project Coordination, Systems Implementation, or high level Operations Support role.

A tech adjacent mindset: You aren't a developer, but you are familiar with the backend of modern software ecosystems (Shopify apps, PIM systems, ERP architectures) and thrive on building smarter processes.

Exceptional organizational grit: You naturally live in project tracking tools, take precise notes, and never let a detail drop through the cracks.

Strong communication & low ego: The ability to confidently manage up to executive leadership, while staying completely willing to jump from a complex software rollout to an ad hoc administrative task without missing a beat.

What's In It For You

Impact: Work directly with the founders and senior team members of a fast growing, globally recognised Brisbane brand.

Variety: Say goodbye to boring, siloed corporate roles. You will touch technology, workflow design, and brand wide projects.

Ownership: Real ownership over your project streams in a focused, high performing, and supportive environment.
