Overview

Seeking an experienced Product Manager with strong expertise in Investment Management and Private Markets to lead product strategy and delivery for platforms supporting Private Equity, Private Credit, Investment Operations, and Fund Accounting. The role requires deep domain knowledge, strong data management capabilities, and experience working with cross-functional business, technology, and data teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap for investment management and private markets platforms.
• Partner with investment, operations, fund accounting, and technology teams to gather requirements and define product features.
• Lead product discovery and requirements for:
  • Investment Operations workflows
  • Fund Accounting processes and transaction lifecycles
  • Market and Security Reference Data
  • Data ingestion, enrichment, and distribution
• Create and manage product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee data mapping, data management, and integrations across multiple systems.
• Work with engineering and data teams on SQL-based analysis, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Support integration of market, security, pricing, and counterparty reference data into investment and accounting platforms.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for private market transactions, including capital calls, distributions, valuations, and settlements.
• Support regulatory, audit, and reporting requirements through strong data governance and controls.
• Track product performance through KPIs, user feedback, and operational metrics.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Analyst within Financial Services.
• Strong experience in Investment Management and Investment Operations.
• Deep understanding of Private Markets, including Private Equity and Private Credit.
• Solid knowledge of Fund Accounting, transaction processing, and lifecycle events.
• Experience with Market and Security Reference Data.
• Strong background in data management and data mapping across multiple systems.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in Agile environments with engineering and data teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with investment, portfolio management, accounting, or private market platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and control frameworks.
• Experience supporting large-scale system integrations or modernization initiatives.
• Background in asset management, asset servicing, or financial technology organizations.
