Commercial Strategy Lead

Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home)
Salary: Up to £120,000 + 7.5% Bonus + Travel Allowance + Up to 4% Pension

We're partnering with a market-leading B2B organisation looking to appoint a Commercial Strategy Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth agenda. Working closely with the Commercial Leadership Team, you'll develop and execute strategic initiatives that unlock new revenue opportunities, improve commercial performance, and support long-term business growth.

The Role

As Commercial Strategy Lead, you'll partner with senior leaders across the business to identify growth opportunities, evaluate commercial investments, and develop strategic recommendations that drive business performance.

You'll transform complex data into compelling insights, producing executive-level presentations that clearly communicate strategic recommendations and influence decision-making at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop commercial and growth strategies to support the organisation's long-term objectives.
  • Build winning go-to-market strategies to enter new markets and secure high-value B2B partnerships.
  • Structure and solve complex commercial and strategic business challenges.
  • Analyse financial and commercial performance to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, compelling recommendations for executive stakeholders.
  • Produce high-quality presentation decks for board and executive-level audiences.
  • Create engaging strategic narratives backed by robust financial and commercial analysis.
  • Partner closely with Commercial Leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations confidently to senior executives and key decision-makers.
About You

You'll be an exceptional communicator with strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear, concise storytelling.

You'll also have:
  • 3-5 years' experience in Commercial Strategy, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, or a similar strategic role.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to structure ambiguous business problems into practical commercial solutions.
  • Strong financial and commercial analysis experience.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to create executive-quality materials.
  • Confidence presenting complex concepts to senior leadership teams.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies and supporting commercial growth initiatives.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
