The Global IT Field Services Manager oversees IT service delivery for field operations across construction projects, regional facilities, and temporary job sites within the Michels Family of Companies. This leader ensures that technology infrastructure and support services are secure, dependable, and standardized to meet the demands of evolving field environments. Working collaboratively with Construction Operations, Facilities, Security, and IT stakeholders, this role plays a critical part in supporting project startups, site transitions, and closures while driving alignment between technology solutions and business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team, including hiring, training, and developing employees. Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations, foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, and make decisions regarding promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Ensure team alignment with organizational goals and support continuous professional growth
- Manage global IT field services supporting active construction projects, remote jobsites, and regional offices
- Ensure consistent delivery of on-site and remote IT support, including endpoint devices, networking equipment, connectivity solutions, and collaboration technologies
- Establish and maintain standardized field support processes, service levels, and escalation paths aligned with Global IT operations
- Support temporary and permanent site setups with a focus on uptime, safety, and operational readiness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, 3 years of related and/or operational experience, or an equivalent combination
- 7+ years of IT operations or field services experience, preferably in construction, utilities, manufacturing, or project-based environments
- 3+ years of experience leading teams, including geographically distributed or field-based staff
- Experience supporting remote and temporary sites with limited infrastructure
- A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
