QA Automation Lead (Oneshield and Automation exp with P&C)

Role: QA Automation Lead

Location: Atlanta, GA- Hybrid

Duration: 12+ months

·       Lead the test plans, strategies, and methodologies for testing rate calculation functionalities within P&C insurance software applications - OneShield and Earnix

·       Define testing scope, objectives, and timelines in alignment with project requirements and business goals.

·       Perform both manual and automated testing of rate calculation functionalities, including verifying rate tables, rating algorithms, and premium calculations.

·       Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks to streamline testing efforts.

·       Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and developers to analyze rate calculation requirements, rate manuals, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

·       Identify test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage to validate rate calculation logic.

·       Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business analysts, product owners, developers, and project managers.

·       Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the QA team, including mentoring on testing best practices, methodologies, and tools.

·       Ability to lead the development of comprehensive test plans, strategies, and methodologies for testing rate calculation functionalities within P&C insurance software applications.

·       Strong understanding of P&C insurance, including both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.

·       Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

·       Solid knowledge of test management tools such as Jira and Xray

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

·       Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen diligence.

·       Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.

·       Mentor junior performance team members, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to help them grow and develop in their roles.

·       Basic understanding of Python scripting

·       Experience in AI assisted Quality Assurance
