Database Developer (SQL)

Introduction: The Database Developer (SQL) will play a key role in supporting the STD/HIV program area by transitioning to a new Electronic Disease Surveillance System, improving Data Warehousing projects, and developing new solutions for eCR onboarding. The candidate should be self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work under limited supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Develop ETL solutions, advanced querying, and stored procedures
• Participate in process automation and data pipeline improvement
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders for project support
• Provide guidance, attend meetings, and actively engage with the team
• Ensure systems follow industry best practices and compliance with regulations
• Monitor and resolve data processing issues

Required Skills:

• SQL
• Microsoft SSIS
• Microsoft Power BI
• SAS

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong background in data integration, staging, and distribution
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
