Senior SAP ABAP Consultant / Architect AATP & S/4HANA

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant / Architect with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA and Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and enhancing SAP solutions using modern ABAP technologies, with a strong understanding of AATP-related business processes and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP solutions within S/4HANA environments.
• Work extensively with SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP) functionality and related custom developments.
• Develop and enhance ABAP Objects, CDS Views, BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, APIs, and OData services.
• Support technical design and integration of AATP with Order-to-Cash (OTC), Sales & Distribution (SD), and supply chain processes.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform performance optimization, troubleshooting, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for complex SAP development initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, preferably at Senior Consultant/Architect level.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong experience with SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP).
• Expertise in ABAP Objects (OO ABAP), CDS Views, BAdIs, Enhancements, User Exits, and Interfaces.
• Experience with modern S/4HANA development techniques and ABAP on HANA.
• Good understanding of SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
• Experience integrating ABAP developments with AATP and S/4HANA business processes.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OData, REST APIs, AMDP, RAP, and Fiori-related backend development.
• Experience with S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Product Availability Check (PAC), Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC), Product Allocation (PAL), and Supply Protection within AATP.
• SAP certification in ABAP, S/4HANA, or related technologies is a plus.
