Mid- Level Systems INtegration Engineer with Security Clearance

Mid-Level Systems Integration Engineer (Linux, Unix, C) Salary: $110K- 130K
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Labor Requirements: • Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.

• Observe and interpreted visual outputs indicating the operational status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.
• Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact. • Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.

Technical Skills Required: • Strong Linux experience. • Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management. • Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers or network infrastructure.

• Experience setting up storage such as network attached storage.
• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.

Special Technical Skills Desired: • Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.

• Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS.

Minimum Experience Required: • Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree plus 3-years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered. • Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

• Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security+CE.
• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming. Information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
