Database Engineer

PostgreSQL Database Engineer - Circa £500 per day Inside ir35 - Fully remote - 3 months rolling

Please note: Due to the nature of the project, successful applicants will be required to be SC cleared prior to appointment

My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Database Engineer to join a government end client of theirs.

They are looking for resources who can independently work on the following activities:

• Dependency reviews with Front End and Back End Developers
• PostgreSQL Stored Procedures and Function Development
• Writing Unit Tests for delivered Database tickets
• Update relevant LLDs
• Carry out Code reviews on other DB tickets
• Experienced on writing stored procedures in PostgreSQL

This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level. Clearance sponsorship will be provided where required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates should meet the relevant residency requirements. If applicable, reserved post nationality restrictions will be confirmed by the client.
