Digital Innovation and Change Project Manager
South London, hybrid 2 days on site, flexible working, 35 hour week
£55 - £61.5k + strong benefits
An dynamic role working with a newly established team, working for a well-known London University. They require a delivery focussed project manager (PM) in the digital innovation and transformation space. This PM role is responsible for overseeing end to end delivery of digital solutions that will modernise and enhance the student journey as well as drive organisation change.
Building relationships with key stakeholders is a key part of this role, so there is an element of business partnering associated to the post, as is technical and change delivery. It's a varied role and will suit someone who is happy to manage multiple projects and demonstrate quick wins to raise the profile of the digital, innovation and transformation team.
This is an interesting and varied role in a fabulous institution that will allow autonomy to deliver new technologies, AI, Power platforms to solve old problems with new solutions.
Scope of Role
- Manage project progression through the full life cycle within established change frameworks, including setting appropriate methodologies eg waterfall and/or Agile methods
- Show dynamic leadership in the introduction of new technologies across AI, ML and Data solutions.
- Build strong effective relationships with business stakeholders ensuring that their needs and expectations are understood and managed.
- Create project plans, detailing product prioritisation, implementation, reporting and definition of success metrics and criteria
- Manage the operational relationship with delivery partners, third parties or vendors, including the procurement of services, hardware and software throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage and evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk including assessing and resolving all high priority project risks as they are encountered.
- Ensure all projects meet success parameters and ROI targets stated in business case

The basic working week will be 35 hours, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break each day. Worked from Monday to Friday; 9.00am to 5.00pm, on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week on the main campus.
Annual Leave commences at 29.5 working days per annum and there are some fabulous benefits as part of the package.
