The Role • Monitor, control, and manage vehicle readiness processes (e.g., maintenance, cleaning) to ensure safe, punctual, and efficient vehicle deployment. • Steer and implement central vehicle dispatch planning, adapting to short-term order changes. • Oversee, track, and document readiness and maintenance services according to general planning guidelines. • Coordinate and commission operational staff, such as train dispatch drivers, within the responsible area. • Ensure energy-efficient vehicle parking assignments. • Monitor and operate signal boxes. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a railway employee in operational services or training as a train traffic controller, with a qualification as a pointsman. • Previous experience in railway operations is advantageous. • Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in demanding situations. • Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to take responsibility. • Readiness for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility.
