Torch Technologies is seeking an Acquisition Systems Project Engineer to join a team providing support in the application and execution of the following systems: engineering technical and technical management processes: requirements definition and analysis, digital engineering, architecture design, implementation, integration, V&V, transition, decision analysis, technical planning, technical assessment, requirements management, risk management, configuration management, technical data management, and interface management. Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation. Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received. As a Acquisition Systems Project Engineer , your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: * Review and ensure adequacy of engineering documentation submitted for systems in development including documentation
* Write, coordinate, and maintain Government developed system engineering documentation, e.g. Systems Engineering Plan
* Prepare reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective action to system engineering issues and processes
* Utilize Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) for management of system requirements
* Ensure and support a Model Based Systems Engineering approach for system development including use SysML and associated tools
* Monitor and support verification of system requirements
* Communicate effectively through written, verbal, and presentation methods Required Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Systems Engineering, a related field OR equivalent experience (6 years' of applicable experience may be substituted/in lieu of degree).
* Must have at least 5 years of related engineering experience.
* Must have an active SECRET DoW security clearance. Must be eligible for a Top Secret clearance. Applicants without the required clearance will not be considered.
* Must be familiar with DoW Acquisition processes or project management professional principles. Preferred Skills: * Master's degree in Mechanical or Systems Engineering preferred
