Role Overview
This position directs the planning, execution, and testing of new construction power plant commissioning. The role involves managing projects within defined budgets, schedules, and environmental targets. The supervisor will interact with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, OEM equipment suppliers, and internal teams to develop and manage a fully integrated commissioning plan.
Key Responsibilities
Education: An Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Experience: Candidates must have 11 - 15 years of experience in power plant commissioning, including work with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning is necessary. Proficiency with Word is also required.
Work Environment
Driving will be required as part of this position's duties. For this role, the supplier must hold validation of a non-restricted current driver's license and demonstrate no alcohol/drug-related driving offenses within the previous five years, and the license must not be currently suspended or restricted.

- Oversee multidisciplinary teams of engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
- Drive process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead technical validation and operational readiness assessments.
- Act as a subject matter expert in commissioning and startup processes.
- Ensure a quality product meets the project's performance objectives through system turnover walkdowns and verification checks.
- Interact with off-taker Utilities, regional transmission system operators, and plant operations to manage issues as they arise.
