Ferry Replacement Programme Manager

£52,361 - £55,390
£28.69 - £30.35 per hour
The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance
You will be reporting to Service Manager for Transportation.
Your working pattern is 0900 – 1700 Monday - Friday. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to lead the Council's Ferry Replacement Programme and associated landside infrastructure improvements, including the development and enhancement of piers and harbours, as part of a strategic rolling programme. The postholder will ensure projects are progressed effectively and on schedule, with appropriate governance arrangements in place and funding secured to support successful delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-profile, high-value programme that will play a vital role in securing the future of island connectivity. We are seeking a motivated and experienced project professional with a proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, and delivering successful outcomes within challenging environments.
