Duck Creek Developer – Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Duck Creek development.
• Strong experience with Duck Creek Insurance Suite.
• Hands-on expertise in Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims, or related modules.
• Experience in Duck Creek configuration, customization, development, and implementation.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance business processes.
• Experience working with Duck Creek Author, Express, TransACT, and related tools.
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT, SQL, Java, and/or .NET (C#).
• Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design.
• Experience integrating Duck Creek applications with third-party systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, QA teams, architects, and technical teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in full lifecycle implementations, enhancements, and support projects.
• Duck Creek Certification is mandatory.
• Preferred: Duck Creek Certified professional with multiple implementation or migration project experience.
• Experience with Cloud (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements is preferred.
