Role Description

Seeking an experienced Lead Performance Engineer/Architect to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for enterprise and cloud applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, Gatling, API/Web testing, automation, and performance engineering, with hands-on experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for web, API, and microservices.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter or similar tools.
• Perform API performance testing (REST/JSON, SOAP) and automate test execution.
• Build and maintain automated test suites for Next.js applications (Unit, Integration, E2E).
• Identify performance bottlenecks and provide optimization recommendations.
• Monitor system performance metrics (CPU, Memory, JVM, I/O, Network).
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and deliver performance reports.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of Performance Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, Gatling.
• Experience with API/Web performance testing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js performance testing.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Dynatrace, APM, JVM Monitoring.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and test automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
