Bank Branch Manager

Location: Edmond, OK

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Based on Experience

Shift: 8 AM - 6 PM

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established, relationship-focused financial institution seeking a Branch Manager to lead one of its Oklahoma City area locations.

This is a customer-focused leadership role for someone who understands that great banking starts with great relationships. The Branch Manager will create a welcoming and exceptional experience for customers, lead and develop the branch team, and build genuine relationships with the people and businesses the bank serves.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes the time to know their customers, understand what is important to them, and become a trusted resource. As those relationships develop, they will recognize when a customer may benefit from another service or expertise within the bank and make the appropriate introduction.

What You'll Do

  • Create a welcoming, professional, and relationship-focused branch environment.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and develop an understanding of their financial needs, goals, businesses, and life events.
  • Take ownership of customer needs and concerns and ensure they are managed with care and professionalism.
  • Recognize when a customer's needs may extend beyond the branch and connect them with the appropriate banking professional.
  • Lead, coach, and develop branch employees while creating a culture centered on exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch while maintaining strong service, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Work alongside your team and function as a Teller and Personal Banker as needed.
  • Partner with other areas of the bank to ensure customers receive the resources and expertise they need.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous banking experience with experience in branch leadership or customer relationship management.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in people and building long-term relationships.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to recognize customer needs and connect them with the right resources.
  • Professionalism, accountability, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to balance customer experience, team leadership, and branch operations.
