Front Office Business Analyst - Asset Management

Description

Our Asset Management Client, based in London, are looking for a Front Office Business Analyst to work on a wide range of projects.

The successful candidate will possess strong Business Analysis capabilities combined with deep domain expertise across Fixed Income products and investment management processes. This is a highly visible role requiring close interaction with front office users and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis

• Engage with Front Office stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and strategic priorities.
• Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements elicitation sessions.
• Create business process maps, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Support project delivery across the full project lifecycle, from inception through implementation.

Front Office & Fixed Income Change

• Partner with stakeholders to enhance front office workflows and technology platforms.
• Analyse and improve processes across trading, portfolio management, investment operations, and risk management.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of Fixed Income trading and portfolio management systems.
• Act as the bridge between business users and technology teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with snr business stakeholders across the Front Office.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to business and technology leadership.
• Facilitate decision-making and manage competing stakeholder priorities.
• Support change management and user adoption activities.

Testing & Delivery Support

• Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies.
• Support defect triage and resolution throughout project delivery.
• Ensure solutions align with business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Assist with post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
