SR. PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Direct Hire | Full-Time | ONSITE - Relocation Assistance Available
An established organization supporting highly regulated operations is seeking a Sr. Procurement Specialist to join its procurement team. This role is ideal for procurement professionals with experience supporting government-related contracts, supplier management, and compliance-driven purchasing activities.
The selected candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support sourcing, contracting, procurement execution, and contract administration activities while ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
<>Responsibilities- Manage procurement activities from requisition through contract award and administration
- Support supplier sourcing, negotiations, and vendor relationships
- Review procurement requirements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies
- Partner with internal business units to support operational and project needs
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and contract records
- Assist with supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in government procurement, government contracting, or a similarly regulated purchasing environment
- Working knowledge of FAR and/or DEAR regulations
- Experience supporting prime contracts or complex contractual agreements
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to meet site access and employment eligibility requirements
- Experience supporting Department of Energy (DOE) programs or contracts
- Experience in federal, defense, energy, manufacturing, engineering, or technical procurement environments
- Contract administration or supplier management experience
