Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data and analytics initiatives, from planning through production implementation.
• Manage delivery across data engineering, data integration, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, reporting, and analytics workstreams.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Drive execution across multiple teams and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality expectations.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog reviews, release planning, and delivery status meetings.
• Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers and drive them through resolution.
• Provide clear status reporting and executive-level communication to business and technology leadership.
• Coordinate production releases and ensure appropriate testing, governance, and implementation processes are followed.
• Ensure data initiatives comply with banking security, data governance, privacy, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and overall team effectiveness.

 

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of overall IT experience, with significant experience delivering data-focused programs and projects.
• Proven experience as a Data Delivery Lead, Technical Delivery Lead, Data Program Lead, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing, APIs, and analytics.
• Experience with modern data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, or similar platforms.
• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience and experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery management tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate across technical and business teams.
• Banking or financial services experience strongly preferred.
