Trainee Social Media Executive

Our client, an exciting and fast-paced marketing agency, is actively looking for a creative and highly motivated Trainee Social Media Executive to join their growing marketing team. Working closely with the Senior Social Media Manager, you will learn how to build engaged online communities, create eye-catching content, and analyze campaign performance across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and scheduling content across various social media channels using tools like Hootsuite, Later, or Sprout Social.

• Help create engaging multimedia content, including basic graphic design (e.g., using Canva) and short-form video editing for Reels and TikTok.

• Monitor social media channels and support community management by replying to comments, messages, and mentions in a professional brand voice.

• Assist in writing catchy, on-brand captions and researching trending hashtags.

• Track basic social media metrics and help compile monthly performance reports.

• Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends, viral audio, and platform updates.

What Our Client is Looking For:

• A genuine passion for digital marketing and a strong understanding of how platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn work.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creative copywriting and impeccable grammar.

• A highly organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop new skills.

• Familiarity with basic design tools (like Canva) or video editing apps (like CapCut) is a huge bonus, but not strictly required.

• Please note: A relevant degree (Marketing, Journalism, Media) OR a strong personal social media presence/portfolio will be highly advantageous.
