SQL DATABASE ARCHITECT

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience administering enterprise database environments.
• 2+ years of experience in a Database Architect or similar technical leadership role.
• or Legal Permanent Resident of USA Technical Expertise
• Microsoft SQL Server administration and architecture
• Database modeling and physical/logical database design
• Installation, configuration, and lifecycle management
• Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Always On Availability Groups
• SQL Server clustering, replication, and Log Shipping
• Performance tuning and optimization
• SQL scripting, stored procedures, functions, and query optimization
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Monitoring tools such as Redgate Monitor or equivalent
• Performance troubleshooting using DMVs, Extended Events, SQL Profiler, and related tools Cloud & Database Platforms
• PostgreSQL administration
• Azure SQL Database
• Azure SQL Managed Instance
• AWS EC2
• AWS RDS
• Experience migrating on-premises databases to Azure is preferred. Additional Skills
• Enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments
• Automation using PowerShell and Python
• Experience with C# or VB.NET is a plus

ETL processes and related technologies

• Business Intelligence platforms such as Power BI and Amazon QuickSight
• ServiceNow ITIL practices and IT service management
• Database monitoring, capacity planning, and operational reporting
• Experience managing large-scale physical and virtual database environments Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing enterprise database architectures.
• Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing technical leadership across cross functional teams.
• Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments is preferred.
